What GT.Guitar is About....
Teaching all levels of guitar student. So, no matter if you are a beginner or an advanced guitarist GT Guitar has the lesson to help you develop your guitar playing. Often it can be a little daunting for a beginner student to come for their first lesson but you really have nothing to worry about, good teachers have a way of relaxing a student focusing them on learning the songs they are passionate about. GT Guitar teaches a whole range of guitar styles, from folk acoustic guitar to electric rock, pop and jazz guitar. We can also cover a range of finger-picking, plectrum and strumming based styles of guitar playing. GT Guitar has an experience in teaching classical and Bass guitar at all levels.
It is recommended to practise your instrument every day for as little 10 minutes if that’s all you can afford. It is much better to do lots of short sessions than to practice for two and a half hours for one day a week. To be able to learn and improve, it’s important to work at whatever is covered in a lesson over and over. You need sufficient practice time to take in the information from one lesson before going on to the next. Tuition is always tailored to suit every individual’s specific needs.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, you’d like to play favourite band’s songs, you’re a singer wanting to accompany yourself, you’d like to start learning music theory or aural awareness, you’d like to be good enough to join a band, you’re a more advanced player; wanting to brush up on some new skills or techniques, you’re a fledgling songwriter wanting a few tips or you’d like to study graded exams, GT Guitar will be able to help. About GT Guitar Lessons in Fleet
Welcome to GT. Guitar Lessons Fleet. My name is Tony Stanley and I am a professional guitar tutor and musician based in Fleet. I have been playing the guitar since the age of 13 and have gained a high level of knowledge for my instrument. I have been a full-time guitar teacher to all ages for approaching 3 years now and I have gained a huge amount of experience in that time teaching to all ability levels.
I currently work for after-school tuition company known as The Rock Project. I have also been teaching private lessons for all ages. I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors.
Away from my tuition I play in a variety of bands and have many years’ experience in performing and recording as a guitarist and bassist. More recently I have myself found the time to study and take Grades in classical guitar.
Whether students are beginners or more advanced, GT Guitar will help you set goals for your playing help you achieve them. You will learn songs that you love and be amazed by how much you improve. I feel that learning to play the music YOU want to play is the key principle for learning the guitar as it will make you feel rewarded for your practising. On top of that, I have advanced knowledge of scales, chords, guitar technique and so on, that will help you gain a deeper understanding for your instrument and give you the tools make your own music.
